5 Day Guarantee Policy  June 2007


The majority of fishes at Exotic World Of Fish are guaranteed under our 5-day guarantee policy. This means that the guaranteed fish may be replaced if it dies and is returned to EWOF with its receipt within 5 days. The originally purchased fish is replaced once, the replacement fish is not guaranteed. This ensures that we are not perpetually replacing a fish that a customer cannot care for. The fishes under the 5-day guarantee are guaranteed as to their health.

The following are exceptions to our 5-day guarantee:
 · Fish that are on sale or otherwise discounted are not guaranteed.
 · Fish killed due to aggression or being eaten are not guaranteed.
 · Fish not placed in the proper environment are not guaranteed.
 · Invertebrates, corals and plants are not guaranteed.
 · Fish labeled as “Wild” are not guaranteed.
 · Dwarf aquatic frogs are guaranteed.
 · Special orders are not guaranteed.
 · Feeder fishes are not guaranteed.
 
Also there is no guarantee on the following groups of fishes:
 · Tangs and Surgeonfishes
 · Seahorses and Pipefishes
 · Apistogrammas
 · Butterflyfishes
 · Dragonets
 · Anthias
 · Discus

30-Day Return Policy  June 2007

All livestock returns are subject to our 5-Day Guarantee Policy.

Non-livestock items at Exotic World Of Fish have a 30-Day Return Policy with the following conditions: · A receipt accompanies returned item.
· Item is in resalable condition with all original parts and packaging.
· Item is defective not due to abuse or misuse. *
· Special order items are subject to a 15% restocking fee and in some cases are not returnable.
· Returned item may receive store credit, refund, or exchange at the discretion of Exotic World Of Fish.

*Glass Tube Heaters: The most common cause of cracked, broken, or shattered heaters is improper use and such heaters are not returnable. Make sure your sales or checkout person inspects your new heater purchase before you leave the store. Defective heaters, such as it wont turn on or off, are returnable. *Glass Aquariums: All glass aquariums are inspected when they arrive at the store. Aquariums with broken glass are not returnable. Make sure your sales or checkout person inspects your new aquarium purchase before you leave the store. Aquariums, which leak along the seams, are only returnable when purchased with and/or placed on manufactured aquarium stands.

All items after 30 days are the customer’s responsibility and subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty. Exotic World Of Fish can help with contact numbers.
